Mary Adoretti is a native of Massachusetts,
however her heart is in Colorado where she has spent fifteen years raising two sons and
studying art. Beautiful Colorado Springs is where she calls home. Pikes Peak and the
entire Rocky Mountains have always been an inspiration to Mary. As is the late John
Denver, whose Rocky Mountain High and many other songs will always be remembered.
Art has been a passion of Mary's from a very early age. She started her education in Massachusetts
studying fine art at Holyoke Community College, The Hill Institute in Florence, The Studio
Guild in Northampton and various adult education classes in the area. As her journies took
her to Colorado she expanded her knowledge in commercial art, graphic art, and fine art at
Pikes Peak Community College and The Working Studio in Manitou Springs.
Other than her family, art is the love of
her life. She works in oils, pen and ink, pastels, and most recently pencil has been her
medium of choice. Her art leans towards the southwestern style, wildlife, and portraits. |
